About the author: Pamela D. Jacobs, M.A. is a writer/editor in San Francisco. She has written and edited numerous books, health care guides, scripts, screenplays, marketing materials, and training manuals. She is currently working toward a degree in environmental and holistic health. She has earned a B.A. in foods and nutrition and an M.A. in professional and technical writing from San Francisco State University.
